Jealousy

Jealousy has shrewdness to its face.

It stains the mind, and eats away at your heart and soul.

It consumes you with its slyness, petrifying eyes,

and teeth that will crush your sanity.

It can survive without intelligence and

without compassion.

It eats into the very depths of your moral fiber.

Resentment is like cutting yourself

and waiting for the other person to perish.

It interrupts ones survival, so    

run away from its loathing and harmful ways.

As the monster surfaces,

It will erupt like a volcano,

annihilating everything in its way.

Nothing and no one will be left unscathed.

                                     

Bitterness will never calm your mind until    

it takes you, shakes you, and ultimately gets what it wants.

Rage interrupts ones survival

until it’s able to demolish

and swallow you whole.
